Some times you just wish you werent listening

Today I had the pleasure of overhearing the dumbest thing i think Ive ever heard in my life. It came from behind me in a familliarly annoying voice in referance to New Mexico Tech.

"It's a Tech thing, you wouldnt understand."

Why would anyone with half a mind and any self respect say any thing like that. I my self was somewhat offended.
