The snow crunches when you drive over it, your car never actually warms up enough to produce heat out of the HVAC vents and you're steaming breath forms ice on the inside of the windscrean. It's cold out side but none of that really matters because, hey at least it's sunny.

Maybe -9 if you want to split hairs.

Seriously, what's the attraction of Detroit? If it were 1750 and I were founding a town, I would have closed up shop and moved south immediately after the first winter.
Farmers bought up all the land in Indiana and Ohio, and if you move further south, well, you're in the south.
