Quick Comparison

Check it. The size is about the same as what I'm used to, except the screen is an inch or two bigger. Overall Vista seems neat, it's mac enough to keep me visually stimulated, but it's a little slow and spends noticible time "thinking" before opening even local file folders and applications. I speculate that this issue could be computer specific and that it will be solved with a RAAM upgrade.

Question, is it true Vista alone needs 1 gig to operate? If this is true this implies there is no RAM left for other applications and would help to explain why I've blue screened once already in 24 hours.

I know for sure that Vista takes on a few gigs on your hard drive and also required a good amount of memory to just to operate minimum requirements. Thats why Kaz went back to using XP, plus you can use all the "free" software from school on XP.
